Policy Implementation:

1. Reporting and Notification:

a. Any individual who notices or suspects that a child is missing during a QCL event should immediately inform league officials, volunteers or security personnel present at the venue.
b. Upon receiving such information, the concerned officials will take immediate steps to coordinate the response process and notify the appropriate authorities whenever required.
c. Parents, guardians or responsible family members of the child will be informed as quickly as possible after receiving the report.

2. Coordination and Communication:

a. Designated QCL officials and event coordinators will manage and monitor the response process during such incidents.
b. Relevant information regarding the missing child may be collected carefully to assist in search efforts and coordination.
c. A proper communication system will be maintained to ensure timely updates and assistance for parents or guardians during the process.

3. Search and Assistance:

a. QCL staff, volunteers and authorized personnel may assist in search efforts within the event premises and surrounding areas whenever necessary.
b. The league will fully cooperate with local authorities and emergency services if additional assistance or investigation is required.

4. Media and Public Relations:

a. Any public communication related to such incidents will be handled responsibly while respecting the privacy, dignity and safety of the child and family involved.

5. Documentation and Review:

a. Incidents related to missing children may be documented internally for safety and administrative purposes.
b. QCL may review such incidents to improve future safety measures and event management practices.

6. Prevention and Awareness:

Queens Cricket League will continue to promote safety awareness and implement reasonable security and event management practices to help maintain a safe environment for all participants, children and attendees during league activities and events.
